Ara Waterway
Let us explore Gimpo in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, with UNB, a rising K-pop band!
Traveling along the Ara Waterway that extends 18 km from the Hangang River to the West Sea on a cruise ship, they had a great time viewing a magic show and feeding seagulls.
All the UNB members seem to have fallen under the spell of the Ara Waterway, Korea’s first inland canal which opened in 2012.

Marine Park
The K-Pop band UNB that visited Gimpo, the city of peace and culture in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is now heading for the Marine Park for experiential activities to raise awareness about national security.
The park features the retired ROK Navy Ship Unbongham as an exhibition hall, and introduces the daily routines of the navy.


Bucheon / Korea Manhwa Museum (April 6)

Hanok Experience Village
UNB, a rookie K-pop band, is now traveling to Bucheon in Gyeonggi Province.
Their first destination was the Hanok Experience Village where people can learn about and experience traditional Korean culture.
The village has programs for visitors to experience traditional Korean clothes (hanbok) as well as tea and rice cake making (during weekends).

Korea Manhwa Museum
The second destination of the K-pop band UNB in Bucheon, the city of manhwa (cartoons), is the Korea Manhwa Museum that provides insight into the 100-year history of Korean cartoons. When you visit the museum, don’t forget to take photos in the Ttaengi Comic Book Store, a recreation of a bygone comic book store, like UNB members did!


Pocheon / Hantangang River Geopark (April 13)

Hantangang River Haneul Bridge
The K-pop boy group UNB is now in Pocheon, a city located on the northeast tip of Gyeonggi Province, the central administrative district of Korea. The first attraction visited by the band in the city was the Haneul Bridge that overlooks the magnificent volcanic areas of the Hantangang River including columnar joints. Here, UNB forged their best memories in Pocheon, enjoying the thrill of crossing the bridge in the air and admiring the beautiful scenery of the river to the fullest extent possible.

Bidulginang Falls
Bidulginang Falls was the next destination of the K-pop boy group UNB in Pocheon, a city located on the northeast tip of Gyeonggi province, the central administrative district of Korea.
The falls were formed by divisions in the lava plateau along the Hantangang River and constitute a long deep valley. Under these falls, UNB members had fun reenacting kiss scenes they saw in TV dramas and films that were shot here.

Herb Island
The third destination of the K-pop boy group UNB in Pocheon, a city located on the northeast tip of Gyeonggi Province, the central administrative district of Korea, was Herb Island, a popular destination for families in Korea.
Experience healing in this park and an herb museum filled with the fragrance of herbs like the UNB members did!


Namyangju / Mongolia Culture Town (April 20)

Mongolian Cultural Town
The sixth Gyeonggi Province city that the K-pop band UNB visited was Namyangju, which boasts diversity in culture.
This city, which has concluded a friendship agreement with Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, has the ‘Mongolian Cultural Town.’ Members of UNB rediscovered their talents while experiencing horse riding and traditional archery and enjoying Mongolian horseback performances.

Pungcheon Eels
What is the second treasure that Euijin, Marco, Jun, Chan from the K-pop boy group UNB found in Namyangju? It is Pungcheon eels, a classic and invigorating delicacy of Korea.
They are caught where the river and the sea meet, and customarily cooked over charcoal.
When you visit the city, don’t forget to enjoy roasted Pungcheon eels with their light yet savory taste!


Siheung / Oido Island (April 27)

Oido Prehistoric Sites
Uni.T, a new K-pop idol group, traveled to Siheung in the southwest of Gyeonggi Province, the central administrative district of Korea.
Their first destination was the Oido Prehistoric Site, the only prehistoric site on the West Coast of Korea. Here, members of Uni.T dressed like primitive people and experienced their lives. They had so much fun that they lost track of time, making a fire by rubbing sticks together and playing games with prehistoric tools.

Oido Fishing Village
The next destination of the K-pop idol group Uni.T in Siheung, a city located in the southwest of Gyeonggi Province, the central administrative district of Korea, was Oido Fishing Village. Here, Uni.T members gathered clams together with children experiencing the tidal flats. Covered with mud, they roughhoused and had great fun.


Ansan / Multicultural Food Street and World Culture Experience Center (May 4)

Sihwa Narae Tidal Power Culture Pavilion
The eighth Gyeonggi provincial city that the KBS World show “Great Gyeonggi Province with K-RUSH” introduced was Ansan, a multicultural city.
The girl group Uni.T was formed through the KBS show “The Unit.” Their first destination in the city was the Sihwa Narae Tidal Power Culture Pavilion.
Equipped with exhibition and experience spaces where one can learn about the principles of tidal power generation and energy, and also a restaurant and café, the center is especially popular with tourists. In addition, the Moon Observatory, which is 75 meters high, features a thrilling skywalk with a 360-degree panoramic transparent glass floor.

Multicultural Food Street
The second destination of Uni.T in Ansan was Multicultural Food Street where one can taste various foods from around the world. With many traditional foods of different countries, the street is popular with foreigners who have been in Korea a long time and are missing the foods of their own countries.
Uni.T members tasted pig’s tongue, which is unfamiliar to Koreans. Can you imagine how it tastes?

World Cultural Center
The final destination in Ansan, the last Gyeonggi provincial city that the KBS World show “Great Gyeonggi Province with K-RUSH” introduced, was the World Cultural Center. It was established to promote a spirit of coexistence and enhance an understanding of different cultures.
Members of the talented girl group Uni.T (Euijin, NC.A, Lee Hyun-joo and Lee Su-ji) viewed exhibitions of musical instruments, dolls, relics, foods, and masks as well as the leisure cultures of various countries and tried on different traditional costumes.
They even competed in an apsara dance, a traditional Cambodian dance, on the spot, marking the end of their unforgettable trip to Ansan.
