Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the ‘Gyeonggi Dream Creators’ program for multicultural families and Koryoin (Korean Russians) until this coming February 27.

The Gyeonggi Dream Creator project was launched this year to train multicultural residents and Koryoin in the province to be Dream Creators by upgrading their video content development skills. “Gyeonggi Dream” represents the goal of the province to enable residents to “fulfill their dreams” and to “share the dream of Gyeonggi Province”.

Designed for naturalized Korean citizens, married immigrants, children of multicultural families, and Koryoin residing in Gyeonggi Province, the program will select 40 applicants through document screening and interviews, followed by basic training after which the final 20 trainees will be chosen as Gyeonggi Dream Creators through a video content creation contest.

The newly selected Gyeonggi Dream Creators will create a video related to Gyeonggi Province’s policies and multicultural life, and will receive KRW 400,000 each month for activity expenses.

The province will offer the participants intensive training by experts and regular mentoring from professional content creators to enhance their capacity, and will hold a video content festival twice a year for them to select outstanding works and present various awards.
