The Gyeonggido Job Foundation offers “2018 IT Vocational Training for Women” to support the re-employment of women on career breaks in the province and will recruit 140 trainees for the first half of the year.

The application deadline is March 20, and anyone who is 15 years of age or older and resides in Gyeonggi Province can apply.

This course provides IT-related vocational training is composed of a total of seven subjects. The classes begin on March 26 and each class will last for from 3 to 6 hours per day between 1 to 4 months.

The subjects include: Web & App Design Specialist, Back & Front Web Development, Shopping Mall Operation (Startup Course), ERP & Computer Accounting, Online Marketing Specialist, Online Shopping Mall Master, and SW Instructor (for advanced learners).

The Gyeonggido Job Foundation plans to provide employment support services such as one-on-one individualized employment counseling and an IT company job matching service along with IT vocational training.

In addition, it will operate a daycare at the Women’s Resources Development Headquarters for trainees with young children so that they can participate in the training without worrying about childcare.

Applications can be submitted via the Kkumnalgae website (http://www.dream.go.kr), Gyeonggi Province’s employment support website for women.

Trainees are selected through a written test and interview on the basis of their scores.
