Seoul Universal Studio is the integrated motion picture support center that is located in Sambong-Ri, Joan-Myeon, Namyangju-si. It opened on August, 1998 thanks to the 65 Billion-Won(about 54 Million-Dollar) construction investment and 400,000 – Pyeong(over 132-ha) site.

The studio is able to produce big-budget movies but also videos, animation, commercial films by way of the Imaging Support Hall, Special Filming Studio, Screen Hall, and more.

It also contains theme park related to motion pictures, much like Universal Studio at Hollywood. Movie & Culture Hall in particular is a national imaging education place where people can see the entire process of movie production and the first facility in Korea to help general people gain a better understanding on films. The image room at the hall screens special effect images that are not shown at general theaters and predominant short films on a regular basis.
