Preparations for the garden festival of Gyeonggi Province, entitled ‘Happy Garden Story’, are in full swing at Seoho (서호) Park next to Seoho (서호) Lake in Suwon (수원) City. This expo, consisting of displaysprivate participants,the first of its kind.

Entitled ‘2012 Social Lak’er Festival’, this festival was organizedGyeonggi Province to promote friendship among online activists working via social network services. Social Lak’era newly coined term in Korea for social network service enthusiasts. Participants ofages enjoyed the festival, which included a welcoming speechthe provincial governor as well as other events including Quiz Time, Photo Time,the Vacation Photo Contest.

Gyeonggi Provincereleasing an emergency fund of KRW 10 billion through the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation to assist smallmedium-sized businesses in their efforts to recoverthe recent typhoons.

The sign board fell downthe ceiling was torn off at this gas station in Suwon (수원) City during Typhoon Bolaven.
2) A Wedding Hall in Suwon City (August 28th)
This wedding hall would have suffered much greater damage beyond its exterior without the help of emergency rescue teams. The typhoon caused other damage to equipmentfacilities, forcing this wedding hall to suspend its operations indefinitely.
3) 9 Factories Suffered Damage to CeilingsWalls
There are nine factories in Paju (파주)Pyeongtaek (평택) aloneceilingswalls collapsed during the storm.
4) Special Operation FundGyeonggi Province
Gyeonggi Province set aside an emergency fund of KRW 10 billion to help smallmedium-sized businesses that are facing difficulties recoveringtyphoon damage.

Out of 77 business ideas supportedthis project last year, 70 saw successful business establishment. The number of business ideas to be supportedthe project this year increased to 85.
