Opening ceremony at the Suwon World Cup Assistance Stadium on August 15, 2PM.

The 2003 National Youth (U-12) Football Competition is a festival for children who dreams of becoming football players. The opening ceremony will be held in the Suwon World Cup Assistance Stadium on the 15th at 2PM.

33 football teams for youth will participate the competition, which is held by the executive committee of the Suwon World Cup Stadium in Gyeonggi-do and the Korea Football Association. 2002 balloons will be let loose and a celebration performance made by the World Cup Youth Arts Company will start this competition which will be held from August 15 to 24, for 10 days in 4 stadiums.

A football theme park will also be built near the assistance stadium where games will be held. Locals may participate in various events with participating football players for 3 days on August 15 to 17, from 3PM to 7PM.

Also, 5on5 mini football competitions both preschoolers and elementary students, 4on4 competition for foreigners living in Korea, and a football magic show with the Guinness Book record preserver for heading a football for the longest time, Nam-jin Heo will be open to the public. At a fence football experience event participates are granted souvenirs.

All games are held on grass grounds to improve the performance of youth players.
