The Gyeonggi province is concentrating on expanding export of tomatoes to Japan through technical training by an imported that holds the Japanese tomato distribution channel and by contract cultivation.

The province is promoting 300 tons of tomatoes worth 400,000 dollars to be cultivated according to contract by the Imjingang Tomato Export Council, which is composed of 11 farms in Paju and Yangju districts.
