– 20 Chinese Officers Will Participate in a 4-Week Korean Language Course at the Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Center

The Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Center has invited 20 public officers from Guangdong, China, which has a sisterhood relationship with Gyeonggi Province, to visit the province for Korean language training. The 4-week course will be launched on May 19, 2008.

The course begins with an opening ceremony on May 19, and ends on June 13, 2008. The course will feature diverse programs, such as Korean language classes, an introduction to the Gyeonggi Government, field trips to industrial and cultural sites of the province, and a trip to Jeju Island.

The Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Center has dispatched public officers from Gyeonggi Province to Guangdong and Liaoning, sister regions of the province, and has invited Chinese officers from these regions to attend training courses. It has been three years since the province last provided training courses to officers from Guangdong.

Twenty officers from the province who visited Guangdong for 4 weeks of Chinese language training in April will have a special one-day session with the visitors from China. Officers from both regions will have sessions in Icheon and Yeoju, which will serve as an opportunity to reaffirm the friendship between both parties and follow-up on the language courses.
