Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Small and Medium-Sized Business Center announced that 15 Gyeonggi Province businesses participated in 2009 AAPEX & SEMA SHOW, which was held from November 3 to November 6, 2009, achieving contracts worth USD 2.6 million and consulting with buyers worth USD 25 million.

The Show is a global auto parts and accessories fair that is held every November at Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo Convention Center in the US. Each year the Show is visited by over 120,000 people from more than 100 countries, and over 2,000 types of auto-related goods and new auto tuning products are unveiled.

The businesses of Gyeonggi Province that participated in the Show gained high recognition for the excellence of their technology, and seized the Show as an opportunity to increase their export channels.

A spokesperson for the Province said, “Participating in international trade shows is one of the easiest ways to increase exports, but we need to regularly participate in these fairs, even when the consulting does not immediately lead to contracts. The Province will strengthen its efforts for close post-management.”
