Gyeonggi Province has begun the renovation of its foreign direct investment homepage (www.invest.go.kr) and is expanding language support from the current Korean and English options to include Chinese and Japanese so as to enhance convenience for foreign investors.

The Gyeonggi investment homepage provides comprehensive information about the investment environment of the province through five main sections: Gyeonggi Introduction (location, general status, etc.); Investment Advantages (superior human resources, education, living environment, etc.); Main Industries (IT, automotive, etc.); Investment Projects (key development projects and foreign-exclusive industrial complexes); and Investment Guide (incentives, support policies, etc.). 

In addition, news and visual media sources are updated frequently, and linkage to support systems for foreign-invested companies – including legal, accounting, and labor consultation services – is provided.

“Through the reorganization of its investment homepage, Gyeonggi can provide a  wide range of information on provincial policies and incentives for foreign direct investment.  Accordingly, it is expected to contribute to investment attraction, job creation and the activation of local economy,” noted a related provincial official.
