Emergency plans against natural disasters
 
Please read thoroughly the emergency plans against natural disasters in summer season and prepare yourself against human/ property damage and loss.

Please check the drainage holes of your house and nearby places.
People living in areas of flooding and avalanche risks should check evacuation places and emergency call numbers in advance.
Please relocate cars parked near streams or rivers to safer places.
Please procure first-aid medical supplies, flashlight, drinking water and emergency food supply.
People living in lowlands or areas prone to floods should prepare themselves for evacuation in emergency.
Please check evacuation places in case of flooding in advance through district office, city hall, county office, or borough office.
Keepers of large construction sites and slopes should check the safety beforehand.
Please do not go near street-lamp, traffic lights and other high-voltage cables.
 

Against heat wave
Please refrain yourself from doing outdoor activities (If you have no option but to go outside, make sure that you bring a broad-brimmed hat and water bottle with you.)
Please drink water often and refrain yourself from drinking caffeinated beverages and alcoholic beverages.
For indoor place without air-cooling system, please block the sunlight, ventilate the indoor air enough and turn on an electric fan.
Please do not leave an infirm person or kid alone.
The elderly, seniors living alone, the infirm and patients must refrain themselves from going outside and those who have to leave them alone for an extended time need to ask to relatives or neighbors to take care of them.
Those trying to intake salt to relieve dehydration need to consult with a doctor.
Those showing initial symptoms of heatstroke such as dizziness, nausea. headache and muscle cramps must go to a place of cooler temperature, take a break for minutes and slowly drink cold drinks.
From 12am to 5pm, when the temperature reaches the highest point, please stay at a place with an air-cooling system for at least 2 hours.

Against typhoon/ strong wind
Please check the path of a typhoon and its arrival time through TV or radio.
Please check the drainage holes of a house and nearby places and clear clogged ones.
Those living in areas with risks of flooding and avalanche need to check evacuation places and emergency calls in advance.
Please relocate cars parked near streams or rivers to safer places.
Please procure first-aid medical supplies, flashlight, drinking water and emergency food supply.
Please firmly fix roof, signboard, window, door, worn out equipment, rides and bicycle which can be blown away by wind.
