Gyeonggi Province and KINTEX will hold Advanced Agricultural Technology Expo (AATE) in the coming December.
This event, which will take place in Hall 8 of KINTEX in Goyang for four days from December 5th to 8th, is the first specialized exhibition in Korea under the theme of advanced agricultural technology in which ICT, biotechnology and nano technology are integrated.
Exhibition halls consist of high technology pavillion, state-of-the-art materials and equipment pavillion, and advanced distribution pavillion. Cutting-edge convergence products and technologies of agriculture integrated with other industries such as ICT, BT, distribution and service are submitted.
Major items for exhibition include agricultural converging (ICT, BT and NT) technology, advanced agricultural machinery, advanced livestock apparatus, advanced agricultural materials, farming materials, Smart Farm, plant factory, glasshouse, fertilizer/soluble powder, greenhouse/irrigation materials, breeds, seeds, controlled horticulture, renewable energy, and advanced distribution services.
This Expo provides exceptional benefits for the participating companies. They are supported to have one-on-one export consulations with overseas buyers as well as the overseas buyer recommendation program to invite global buyers. The Expo seeks convenience of overseas participants in terms of meetings, rest and interpretation services by operating an international lounge.
An international conference hall will be created to support companies to hold meetings to present new products as well as technology seminars. An outdoors demonstration area is also provided outside to demonstrate the agricultural machinery.
People in the industry have high expectations for this Expo, which is to take place in Korea’s largest exhibition center KINTEX, Ilsan, as it is the first agricultural convergence and high-technology exhibition to be held in Korea.
In particular, over 30 representative institutions in the agricultural field will participate as official sponsors of the event, including the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning; the Foundation of Agriculture, Technology, Commercialization and Transfer; and Korean Advanced Farmers Federation. The sponsorship will be of the largest size in the Korean history, displaying diverse new agricultural technologies and creating a key place for farmers to exchange information and technologies.
