For visitors to a group memorial altar established at the Ansan Olympic Memorial Hall, the Gyeonggi Joint Countermeasures Headquarters will provide shuttle buses running between the altar and Hwarang Recreational Park as well as Wa Stadium from April 23.

The Countermeasures Headquarters announced the completion of the group memorial altar on April 22, so that people could visit the altar from April 23. It will also to provide eight shuttle buses running between the memorial altar and Hwarang Recreational Park as well as Wa Stadium.

Gyeonggi Province and Ansan City have provided four vehicles, respectively, and secured visitor parking areas at Hwarang Recreational Park and Wa Stadium.

The Countermeasures Headquarters has been focusing on securing mortuaries as well as hospitals and funeral halls for memorial services, and secured spaces for mortuaries at hospitals and funeral halls in Ansan City as well as nearby cities including Suwon, Siheung, Gunpo and Hwaseong.

Moreover, in addition to the Suwon Cremation, it has asked crematoriums in nearby cities and counties to provide priority consideration when receiving requests from the bereaved families of the Sewol ferry victims.
