◇ Gyeonggi Province invites small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in environment-related fields within the province to participate in the 6th International Exhibition on Green Industry, which will provide opportunities for entry into the environmental market in Shandong Province, China. Gyeonggi Province invites small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in environment-related fields within the province to participate in the 6th International Exhibition on Green Industry, which will provide opportunities for entry into the environmental market in Shandong Province, China.

Hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection and the People’s Government of Shandong Province, and organized by the Department of Environmental Protection of Shandong, the 6th International Exhibition on Green Industry has become the largest environmental protection industry fair in Qingdao. The exhibition will be held from November 14 to 16 in Qingdao, China.

SMEs in environment-related fields such as air, waste, and water quality based in Gyeonggi Province are eligible to apply, and applications are due by August 29.

Interested companies should fill out the application form (see attachment) and send it by email to the Korea Environmental Industry Association (KEIA) at j.choi@keia.kr. The KEIA will evaluate the applications and select approximately 10 companies to participate.

Selected companies will receive financial support from KEIA for 50% of their expenses for renting and setting up booths as well as for round-way shipping.

Gyeonggi Province signed an MOU with Shandong Province on June 11 to facilitate business exchange in the environmental industry and to jointly carry forward environmental projects. The two provinces have been collaborating to promote the environmental industry in both regions.
