A general stone pagoda standing 3.3m height with a five-story pagoda body on top of a single story stone mound.

Each side of body stone of pagoda is divide into three equal parts and roof support of three platforms are made on the lower side of roof stone. The Hoeryong temple was founded by saint Muhak and it seems that this pagoda was built by the prayer of royal family. Judging from the overall appearance.
it is presumed that this was built in the 15th century. It is appraised that this is a precious material for study of pagoda in Joseon period.
