Active support for overall export processes and forms a stable basis for export Without doubt, ‘export’ has active force on Korea’s economy.
Gyeonggi-do explained that through the years of stagnation in consumption and investment, the only thing preserving Korea’s economy is the activity of export enterprises.

Concluding from this, Gyeonggi-do, Korea’s economic center plans to provide overall export support services, from conciliating overseas buyers to attaining export contract, to superior small and medium-sized enterprises.

The province to increase export by small and medium enterprises will promote the electronic commerce support service provided by the Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Center, which recommends business connections with buyers through the Internet, and the ‘Online Export Agency Support’, which connects minor enterprises with professional export agencies.

Gyeonggi-do, which is the most active province to increase electronic commerce for minor enterprises among provincial self-government organizations and the Gyeonggi Small & Medium Business Center understands that many minor enterprises lack the expertise and know-how to reach to final export contracts even through they have found eager buyers through the electronic commerce.

To settle this problem, minor enterprises with export orders through the Internet may cooperate with professional export agencies throughout the export procedure. This will prevent losing new buyers and actively and safely carry out export.

With the ‘Online Export Agency Support Project’ will enable minor enterprises to find new buyers through the Internet, make export contracts, ship products and collect money.
Hyeon-gyu Park, president of Mega Multimedia located in Seongnam and exports telematique products to foreign countries, said “the project is like streaks of rain during a drought for minor enterprises having trouble with adapting to export environments. Enterprises within the province will grow to electronic commerce companies with the province’s help.”

The Gyeonggi Small & Medium Business Center has selected 24 export agencies including Hanwha Co. for the project. For more information, visit the Tradehelper Web site (www. TradeHelper.org).
