The Gyeonggi Province announced on Oct. 10, that a business meeting at Hotel Castle located in Suwon would be held on Oct. 21 with many businessmen from Guangdongsheng, China.

The meeting is to promote business relationships between the two regions. China is now known as the most promising economic country and also the largest country to attain balance of payments in black.

The purpose of this business interchange meeting is to support Korean businesses located within the province to efficiently and steadily penetrate into China’s market. The meeting will be held on the 21st, from 9 in the morning till 3 in the afternoon and about 150 enterprises of Chinese trade and investment and also about 60 members from Guangdongsheng, China will participate this event.

The Gyeonggi-do Governor, Hak-kyu Sohn and the Guangdongsheng Governor will deliver speeches at the meeting and various information such as the Guangdongsheng project and introduction on the business environment in Gyeonggi-do, question period, individual consultation on investment and trade, business visits and development activities and other events are prepared.

Enterprises interested in participation are to apply until Oct. 13 at the International Commerce Dept. of Gyeonggi-do.
