As a result of the active support project for overseas marketing, Gyeonggi-do has obtained excellent results through export consultations and contracts, playing an important role as the motive power of promoting export. 

Ever since the end of October, Gyeonggi-do has provided opportunities to minor enterprises on advancing into foreign markets, open up new markets, publicize brand images and more. For a more effective overall marketing performance, the province has also supported participation in overseas product fairs, invited buyers, opened export consultations and dispatched export teams. Total of 663 companies has participated and export consultations worth 22.71 million dollars has been held and 3.9 million dollars worth of contracts has been successfully concluded. 

To expand export, the province has concentrated on penetrating in regions with high demand on special products and had held overseas exhibitions in Tokyo, Beijing and in other countries. About 40 enterprises per region have held export consultations worth 476 million dollars and contracts worth 680 thousand dollars. 

Through 13 fairs held at the Gyeonggido-kwan, 119 enterprises has participated in obtaining 3.25 million dollars worth of export consultations and 470 thousand dollars worth of contracts. 

The Gyeonggi Province has also supported on booth rental fee for 219 companies that has participated in overseas fairs. 

Export consultations with buyers invited from 49 nations including America, Europe and China, has also been successful. About 294 companies has produced 5.51 million dollars worth of export consultations and 830 thousand dollars worth of contracts.
