Cherry blossom festivals pop up all over the country every year. This week, I’ll introduce you to the cherry blossom event at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government where you can enjoy some of the flowers of Gyeonggi Province.
This year’s Gyeonggi Provincial Government cherry blossom event will run for three days from April 8 (Friday) to April 10 (Sunday). Gorgeous cherry blossoms around the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex and adjacent roads will welcome you to the event.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government cherry blossom event will utilize more than 1,500 light fixtures to create a fantastic atmosphere in the evening. In addition, the event is expected to feature entertainments of various genres including semi-classic, band, crossover, and magic performances. Food trucks at the event will offer visitors plenty of delicious food options as well.
While the cherry blossoms entertain your eyes,
a wide range of performances including classical music will satisfy your other senses during the event.
In addition, the Situation Room on the 2nd floor of Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s Executive Building will be open to the public including families on a day out with their children who can come and watch various animated movies for children!

Ten food trucks, including two Good Morning Food Trucks currently serving the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex, will be on hand to provide their services.
In addition, the provincial government plans to operate various promotional booths including one booth in cooperation with Gangwon Province to promote and sell local delicacies.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will provide an information booth, snack bar, and bathrooms to help visitors enjoy the cherry blossom event more comfortably and conveniently.
It would be a shame if all the fun at Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s cherry blossom event stopped there!
While there will be plenty to see and eat at the provincial government,
Gyeonggi Province plans to cooperate with Gyeonggi Province Good Morning House and offer guests double the attractions and twice the fun!
With an overall concept of ‘A Salon Concert with a Story (classical and Korean traditional music)’, Arte Sena (Kim Hae-eun, etc.) and the Gyeonggi Province Traditional Music Ensemble will stage outstanding performances in the Main Ball Room at the Good Morning House. ^^
In addition, the Good Morning House will give visitors a chance to have fun and create fond memories with an arch-shaped photo zone (accessories including tiaras and bouquets available) in the grass garden as well as a wedding gown event to promote ‘small weddings’.
