Suwon Hwaseong International Music Festival 2016

Based on pride in our traditions, the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress International Music Festival expresses the determination of Suwon citizens to communicate with the world. The Festival features various programs including performances and master classes by Korean and foreign artists, as well as programs in which people can participate themselves. The International Music Festival takes place every two years.

Using a combination of the interjection ‘Eolssigu’ and the word ‘Ya’ which means night, this mid-summer night concert is named ‘Eolssigu Ya’.
