Gyeonggi-do is preparing for the Chuseok holiday with precautionary measures against disasters and various accidents, traffic management during the three day consecutive holiday, arranging an emergency medical plan and infection prevention measurements, environmental cleanup for the holiday and quick civil appeal management. 

Residents may be reassured during the holiday season from Sept. 10 to 14, with the safety management measures, transportation relief plans, medical emergency systems and all other administrative fields planned by the province. 

Civil services will be open as usual from 09:00 to 18:00 during the holiday and from 18:00 to 09:00 the day after will be carried on duty. 

In addition, 9 teams – general management, anti-calamity measures committee, commodity price policy, medical services, cleanup team, refueling, water supply and drainage, fire-fighting and rescue squad – will be arranged for any emergency conditions. 

To be prepared against natural disasters such as landslides, collapsing buildings and other disasters that may occur from typhoons and localized torrential downpours, inspections and emergency plans are prepared in advance. Emergency systems will be maintained around the clock and an emergency contact system will also be established between associated organizations. 

Special precaution teams will be enforced to concentrate on conflagration and to suppress emergencies beforehand, 25 fire stations and 126 branch offices will be on alert.
