7. Event summary: The inaugural Light Blooming Festival featuring beautiful lights and lighting shows against the backdrop of Ilsan Lake gets under way in the winter of 2015. The 2015 Light Blooming Festival will run from December 18, 2015, to January 10, 2016, between the square in front of the Goyang Horticulture Exhibition Hall and along Metasequoia Road.

8. Event contents:

The Light Blooming Festival presents a harmony of different cultures from around the world and an occasion to share blooming lights.

[Indoors]
– World Culture Sharing Festival: A comprehensive cultural party and venue for the exhibition of different cultures from around the world
– Busking contest, DJ festival, cocktail show, Christmas Eve classic party, world belly dance competition, global cultural exhibition (scheduled events)

[Outdoors]
– Square near Lake Park: Christmas digital tree, large snowflake light fixtures, rose maze garden, ‘Christmas course’ lit by gas light fixtures shaped like cats and monkeys/LED performance
– Metasequoia Road: Metasequoia tree light tunnel, Milky Way tunnel and the ‘Romantic event course’/Illumination show 
– Lakeside Road: Large dolphin-shaped gas lights, floral carriages, ‘Photo spot’ of Milky Way lights – Moving laser light show on water
