[7th Anniversary Concert]
In commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the DMZ International Music Festival, the concert will be held under the theme of “Rebuilding Peace,” reflecting on the meaning of “true peace”. It is a memorial concert that offers prayers for a new tomorrow through collaboration with the Korean Symphony Orchestra, cellist Mun Tae-guk, baritone Ko Sung-hyun and mezzo-soprano Son Jin-hui, under the direction of Maxim Fedotov.

[Opening Concert]
Under the main theme of 2017 DMZIMF, “IMAGINE, The Light of Peace,” German cellist Niklas Eppinger, pianist Kang Choong-mo, and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra (conductor Jang Yun-sung) perform together to convey hope for harmony and peace.

[Cookie & Tea Concert]
A concert featuring the special piano duo of pianist Park Jong-hoon, who fascinated classical music fans with his superlative performance in the TV drama series Secret Love Affair, and his wife, pianist Chiharu Aizawa.

[Artist Concert Series]
The first special concert presents a piano recital by Kiai Nara (Professor, Kunitachi College of Music, Japan) and the second concert features famous artists from home and abroad.

[Unification Concert]
In commemoration of the July 27 Armistice Agreement, a peaceful resolution that brought hostilities and all armed conflict of the Korean War to an end, a concert is being held under the theme of aspirations for peace at the Typhoon Observatory located adjacent to North Korea.

[IMAGINE, Peace Concert]
This concert provides a forum for exchange and communication to audience members including military personnel. It will feature the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra and Korean traditional musician Nam Sang-il, who recently gained great popularity through the TV Show Immortal Songs, crossover ensemble Contempo Divo, Kim So-hyun, the heroine of the musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” and Son Jun-ho, the main actor of Bonnie and Clyde. They will perform to convey wishes for peace and unification together with Yeoncheon residents and audience members.

[Closing Concert]
This concert presents a future of peace and comfort that we have imagined, and a melody that resonates of this day of true rest, encompassing all performers in their solidarity for reunification. This is a true classical music performance by top artists.
