Gyeonggi-do announced on the 16th that it will hold PAMS 2020 jointly with Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) and Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology (AICT), and host the “#UNTACT #CONNECT” event where participants will be able to experience autonomous mobility services during the show.
Considering the rising demand for untact services due to COVID-19, the event was designed to introduce customized untact services for each industry with autonomous technology.
Untact service products provided by the companies include untact serving robots for foodservice providers visited by many customers, intelligent service robots that combine patrol and security systems at corporate buildings and fairs, and sterilizing robots and disinfection robots for crowded indoor facilities such as educational facilities and buildings.
Through this demonstration, the provincial government expects that Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do, the heart of the fourth industrial revolution, will transform into a testbed for a wide variety of autonomous mobility services, and this will be a meaningful event to promote the commercialization of technologies by autonomous startups and related companies in the province.
In addition, the provincial government will also provide autonomous mobility services to individuals, shops, government offices, and businesses through preliminary applications. Any business establishments or enterprises that require untact autonomous mobility services in Pangyo are eligible to apply, and applications will remain available until Fri, Sep. 25 on the official PAMS 2020 website (www.gpams.co.kr).
