Things to enjoy· 『Yisung Mt. Fortress』 situated in the Yisung Mt. with approximately 2km long fortress wall with height of approximately 5m has been designated as historical monument No. 422. 
· 『Gwangju Hyanggyo』 was the largest Hyanggyo (Confucian temple and school to teach local students in the Joseon Dynasty period) in the country that governed the regions including the present Sungnam, Gwangju, Namyangju, Gangdong, Gangnam and Songpa during the Joseon Dynasty, and was designated as the cultural asset No. 13
· National treasure No. 12 『Hanam Dongsaji Ocheung Seoktop (5-story stone pagoda)』 and No. 13 『Hanam Dongsaji Samcheung Seoktop (3-story stone pagoda)』 are situated in the 『Choongungdong Dongsaji』, the site of a large scale Buddhist temple in the past, which has been designated as the historical monument No. 353.
· Nationally designated treasure No. 981 『Hanam Gyosandong Maaeyaksayeoraejoasang (sitting statue of Buddha)』 is situated in the Seonbeopsa, which is a traditional Buddhist temple of Korea, and 『Eoyongsaem (spring used by the king) of King Onjo』 with the tale that King Onjo drank from this spring as well as Gaek Mt. water fall is located in the vicinity.
· 『Choongung Reservoir』 frequently visited by anglers is situated at and wide range of 『eateries』 are lined along the entrance to Yisung Mt. Fortress.
