This is the Standing wooden Buddhist saint who was enshrined in Gwaneum-jeon Hall of Yaksuseon-won where is famous for mineral waters. It was moved to this place from a temple near the Mt. Jiri in Gyeongsang Province in 1897 and plated with gold again. Gold plates were discovered from Great Dharani Sutra of Immaculate and Pure Light, Great Dharani Sutra of Immaculate and Pure Light including prayer Avalokitesvara.

It has a small feature of a chubby face and simplified earrings, hair was tied down to its narrow shoulder in a figure in five proportion이. As costume document of Wood-Standing Avalokitesvara was founded, its precise production period which is 1620 year and the enshrine Buddhist temple, engravers and the foundlings are a valuable pieces of assets in studying the spread of engraver as well as the bodhisattva images during the middle of Josen and the source of origin.
