Gyeonggi Province announced that it has developed a new disinfectant thateffective in preventing foot-and-mouth disease. Itan organic disinfectant that utilizes lactic acid bacteria.

The vistas of industrial complexes in Gyeonggi Province are being improved significantly thanks to the clean-up efforts of resident companiessupporting public officials. Such clean-up activities have been intensified since the designation of each Friday as a clean-up day for 12 industrial complexes in the province.

A charity kimjang (김장) event was held in the quad of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Complex. Kimjang (김장)an annual event among Korean households during which large quantities of kimchi are prepared for use over the winter.

1) Satisfaction Rate of Gyeonggi Civil Service: Over 90%
According to the results of a public service satisfaction survey, satisfaction rates with the public services providedthe 24/7 Gyeonggi Province Public Service Centerthe Suwon Station Public Service Office were both higher than 90%.

The public service offices of Gyeonggi Province are implementing a variety of conveniences such as the acceptance of credit cards for the payment of civil application feesthe operation of separate desks for seniorspeople with disabilities.
