Gyeonggi Province established the first nationwide ‘Dream Tree Ansim School’, an after school program for elementary school children in a university campus.

Gyeonggi Province opened a Dream Tree Ansim School in the Gyeonggin National University of Education`s Gyeonggi Campus.
Thisthe first time that a Dream Tree Ansim School opened in a university campus.
3) Dream Tree Ansim School: After School Education & Care Program for Elementary School Students
The Gyeonggin National University of Education Dream Tree Ansim Schoola program that cares aboutteaches elementary school children after school until 9pm when their parents areable to take care of them.
Moreover, specialized education course will be formed with excellent instructors uting specialty aptitude guides.
The Dream Tree Ansim School will excellent university students as mentors toonly teach the elementary school students, but to also give them emotional education as well.

2. Infinite Care & GTX Hears University Students Ideas

Gyeonggi Provincegathering university students’ fresh ideas for the infinite care projectthe GTX express train for the metropolitan area.

Gyeonggi Province signed an agreement with the Korea Federation of Advertising Associationsponsorship deal with the Korean Student Advertising Competition for the youngfresh ideas of students.
The 6th Korean Student Advertising Competition will be held for the first time with a public institution as a sponsor. The last 5 competitions were sponsoredlarge conglomerates.
Through this agreement, the themes of the ‘Korean Student Advertising Competition’ will be Gyeonggi’s ‘Infinite Care’the ‘GTX’. The participants will compete with each other to advertisements for the mentioned projects.
Gyeonggi Province plans to use the advertisementthe competition to promote the Province.
The application will start May 10thafter preliminary rounds, which will be held in 6 areas in Korea in June, the final round will be held in the COEX Auditorium on September 17th.
It will be interesting to see advertisements for the infinite care projectthe GTX madethe fresh ideas of our youths.
3. Gyeonggi Province Infinite Care, Expansion Of Sharing Culture

1) Osan Infinite Care Center/Osan Provincial Office (March 15th)
The Osan Infinite Care Center opened its doors.
The Osan Infinite Care Centerthe 6th infinite care center to open in Gyeonggi Province after Namyangju, Goyang, Ansan, SeongnamKwangju.
The story of Han Song-hee who found new life through medical support was introduced in the opening ceremony.
The mother of Miss Han received the first small intestine transplant operation in Korea, participated in the eventexpressed her gratefulness to infinite care.
Singer Kim Hae-yeon was appointed as a spokesperson for the Gyeonggi Province Infinite Care projectshe made a resolution to be active.

4. Baek Nam-jun Art Center First Exhibition This Year ‘Random Access’

Baek Nam-jun Art Center held its first exhibition called ‘Random Access’introduced new art collections.
Random Access means an unexpected encounter or unpredictable access. Italso a workthe late Baek Nam-jun whicha cassette tape attached to the wall for spectators to scratch the electromagnet to hear sounds.
The meaning of Random Access contains the concept of interactionparticipation between artistsspectators. Itan important keyword to understand the world of art of the late Baek Nam-jun.
This exhibition will include major artworks of the late Baek Nam-jun together with localforeign artists commentary related to the artworks.
Through Random Access Baek Nam-jun has returnedwe will be able to understand the world of art of the late Baek Nam-jun.
5. Suwon Immigration Office Became Better

Moremore foreign workers are entering Korea to find jobs. Gyeonggi Province has expanded the scale of the Suwon Immigration Office to protect human rightsprovide convenience to the foreign workers.

The Suwon Immigration Office will manage foreigners who are living in the 12 citiescounties of Gyeonggi Province.

6. $26 Monthly for Alzheimer`s Patients` Medical Expenses

Now Gyeonggi Province has decided to provide medical expenses along with Alzheimer`s exams for seniors who fall under the high risk category.

1)The Results of Last Year`s Alheimer`s Exam, 2,128 Diagnosed
Last year 57,070 people received an Alzheimer`s Exam.
Among them, 2,128, about 3.7% of the total were diagnosed.
To detect the disease early ontreat the rising number of Alzheimer`s patients Gyeonggi Province decided to provide $26 a month starting April to cover expenses for medicinetreatment.
Those eligible for the support should be over 60 years of age, have been diagnosed with Alzheimer`sa medical agencyshould be taking medication.
($575), with less than a $16 co-pay, a different case will apply for 1 person families making less than 50% of the national averagehave co-pays of less than $16.
Hospital employees advised us about effective preventative measures.
This year Gyeonggi Province will take the lead in creating a healthy society for residents with 1.5$ million expected to be spent on Alzheimer`s diagnosistreatment aid through a one-stop service
7. Gyeonggi Strategy To Grab Attention of Chinese Tourists

China has 20% growth every year with great potential to be an emerging market. Gyeonggi Province plans to form a three level strategy to attract Chinese tourists.

Last year around 2,500 Chinese tourists over 60 years old visited Gyeonggi Provinceexperienced various cultural exchanges.
Every year there are moremore Chinese tourists visiting Korea. The record was around 1,500,000 last year whicharound 17% of the total number of tourists.
China will grow to be the 5th largest source of tourists worldwide so Gyeonggi Province came up with a 3 level strategy to attract them.
The strategy also includes developing beauty related tourist products in connection with the Korean traditional sauna, oriental medicinefood.
Itin need to operate a tourism information center to report any inconvenienceto develop tour programs with different themescourses.
If we continuously put forth great efforts to become country known for its high quality tourist attraction, we will be able to gain $1.5 billion in profititpossible to around 18,000 jobs.
