1. Gyeonggi Arts Group Performs at a Small Island

The Gyeonggi Province Arts Group visited Kukhwa-do after a visit to Pung-do last month. I went to experience the cheerful dance feast in Kukhwa-do.

The Gyeonggi Arts Group arrived at the islanatJanggo Port of Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province. 

The Gyeonggi Province arts group visited the island after a visit to Pung-do on February 24th. 
The residents couldstop themselvesfeeling the joyfunthe visit of the arts group. 

The provincial arts groupthe Gyeonggi Province Arts Centeropening performances in places that have difficulty receiving culture benefits such as smalldeserted islands. 

The arts group provides cultural benefits to those who live in small or deserted islands through the cultural activity project. 

The project which provides cultural benefits toresidentsexpected to present a new form of culture welfare. 

2. Employment, the Answer to an Aging Society

Job employment issues for the elderly are becoming a social issue as the aging societyin a critical stage. Gyeonggi Provinceactively moving forward to find jobs for seniors.

The Province has stepped forward to jobs for the elderly. 

Gyeonggi held a ceremony for the 2010 Elderly Employment Projectmade an agreement with the Gyeonggi Industrial Facilities Management Council for the smooth operation of a Gyeonggi Workplace with Hope. 

Gyeonggi Province made an agreement with the Gyeonggi Province Industrial Facilities Management Council for the smooth operation of the project including supporting training for job seekers. The council will also provide support through finding suitable jobs for the elderlyconsidering their capabilitiesaptitudes, 

Gyeonggi Province plans to 40,000 jobs2014developing the manpowercreating more work in the private sectors through the help of the Gyeonggi Workplace with Hope. 
The Province also plans to actively develop various senior policy developments so that they will be able to enjoy their lives with ease in the future.

 

3. Seongnam, Kwangju Opens Infinite Care Center

Infinite Care Centers are opening herethere in Gyeonggi Province.
Gyeonggi Province plans to provide support to those who face difficulties through customized managementcases.

The fourth infinite care center opened in Seongnam after centers opened in Namyangju, GoyangAnsan, Gyeonggi. 
Seongnam d a cooperation agreement with local social welfare institutions to provide infinite support to the 1,500 multi-cultured families. 

Those that cannot receive welfare support will be receiving all-around support through the infinite care center. 

Singer Nam JinKim Yong-chul were appointed as spokespeople during the ceremony. 

On the same day, an infinite care center opened in Kwangju Gyeonggi Province. 

At this event, Ha Su-yeon a studenta family with difficulties, who received aidGyeonggi Province, presented a special performance. 

The comedian Kang Yu-mi whofrom Kwangjuhas done volunteer work for infinite care was appointed a spokesperson. 

Infinite Care Centers will be opened inof the citiescounties of Gyeonggi Province in the future to help those who cannot receive welfare through a customized welfare service. 

4. Gyeonggi Boat Show, Advances As Global Tournament

Gyeonggi Provincestepping forward to prepare multilateral plans to promote the 2010 Gyeonggi International Boat Show, which will be held on June 9th for 13 days, as an international worldwide boat show

The third ‘Gyeonggi International Boat Show’ will be Korea’s first ‘International Professional Boat Show’. 

In order to strengthen the foreign prestige of the Gyeonggi International Boat Show, Gyeonggi Provincepushing ahead to receive international certification. 

The Province will first apply for the global exhibition certificationthe Ministry of Knowledge Economy Certification. If finalized, the Gyeonggi International Boat Show will be the first to acquire an International Professional Boat Show Certification nationwide. 

Onof that, the Province plans to request the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers Membership Certification whicha certification that only Japan, DubaiShanghai have for their boat shows.

5. Korea’s Largest ‘Beauty Exhibition’ To Be Held This Year

Gyeonggi Province will hold the 2nd Beauty Design Expo on September to promote the beauty industry whicha high value-added industry to the world. An organizing tee was organized for the nation`s largest event.

The Beauty Design Expo which will show Korea’s beauty industryhistoryallow one to catch the vision of being a beauty nation will be held for three daysSeptember 17th. 

Gyeonggi Province made an agreement with a co-host group called the Design Korea Forum of The National Assembly to successfully open the eventpresented certificates to the organizing tee.  

This eventthe largest event in Korea with the participation of Gyeonggi Province, government agencies24 private beauty organizations. 

Hair-related equipment exhibitionsnail related exhibitions that have become popular recently are expected to capture the attention of overseas buyers. 

The exhibition will be differentthat of existing beauty exhibitions as there will be art workspromising young artists, beauty-related performancesseminars. This exhibitionexpected to jobs in the domestic beauty industryopen global markets. 

6. Company Difficulties Solver, Corporate SOS Net Steps Forward

‘Corporate SOS Net’ presented a high level strategy in becoming a true problem solver for smallmedium sized companies in the Province with business difficultieshelping them online.

The Gyeonggi Province Corporate SOS System operated the Corporate SOS Net since 2008 which boasts a 97% problem solving rate. One can check the results of the handling through the internet as well.  

Corporate SOS Net received great recognitionthe government last yearhas developed as a standardized model.  

However, when difficulties occur which needs cooperation with over two institutions such as in different cities or counties, only Gyeonggi`s tem can be used to connect the several institutions together whichinconvenient. 

The SOS temreceiving great responses as related institutions directly visit the company site to solve the problems.
However, when the integrated Corporate SOS Netdeveloped, the Corporate SOS network can be used nationwide. 

7. Supportive Tour Guide For Multicultural Families

The Gyeonggi I-Nuri businessrecruiting university student volunteers to play a supportive tour role for childrenmulti-cultural families.

The 2nd Gyeonggi I-Nuri, a Gyeonggi Province Tour Support Program, was pursued to help the multi-cultured children understand Korean culture.  

5 trips, two daysone nightand day tripsApril to October will be supported this year.  

Gyeonggi Province will recruit 30 student volunteers so that the children who aregood at speaking Korean or unfamiliar with Korean culture can enjoy the trip with ease. 

Gyeonggi I-Nuri which received around 3,000 applicationsmulticultural familiesvolunteers last yeartaking the lead to a warm community for multicultural familiesto inform them of Korea’s historyculture.
