Gunpo City will provide an opportunity to an immigrant family who has not visited their home country within the past three years to visit their home country. Based on funds of approximately KRW 2 million, which were raised through the Global Coin Collecting Movement, all travel expenses including round-trip airfare and travel insurance will be paid for one selected family. Accordingly, Gunpo City will receive application forms from multicultural families who reside in the city from March 15 to 27, 2017, to review their qualifications and select one family. To apply for this opportunity, multicultural families should visit in person and submit the application forms along with copies of family member ID cards and confirmation of national health insurance premium payments for the past three months to the Multicultural Family Team of the Women & Family Division. The Global Coin Collecting Movement was co-supervised by Gunpo City and the Gunposi Multicultural Family Support Center to collect spare foreign coins in particular that cannot be easily exchanged.
