Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, has recently been quoted as saying “We have created Tata Electronics, under which we are going to set up a semiconductor assembly testing business.” The Indian giant seeks partnership for this plan, and semiconductor manufacturers and foundries in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan and South Korea are seen as potential partners.
