The 5th Grape Fair and the 1st Peach Fair, supervised by the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research & Extention Services and each sponsored by the Gyeonggi Grape Research Council and the Peach Council will be held from Sept. 19 and 20, 

On the 19th, 51 kinds of high-quality grapes and 31 kinds of peaches grown in Gyeonggi-do were carefully selected by the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research & Extention Services for the fair. Related professionals and auctioneers and others will judge to select the best 5 grapes and 3 peaches and these winning fruits will be awarded by the provincial governor, director of the Agricultural Research & Extention Services and also by the president of each grape and peach research council. 

On the 20th, 81 kinds of grapes and peaches and about 25 new varieties will be displayed by the research council at the Galleria Dept. Store located in Ingye-dong (仁溪洞), Suwon. 

A pavilion displaying grapes cultivated in 9 regions including Anseong and Hwaseong, and regions cultivating peaches such as Icheon, Yeoju and Yongin, will also be opened during the fair. 

Consumers visiting the fair may participate in various events such as an event where participants select the most delicious fruit and consumers will also be presented with fruit gifts.
