Excellency of “Traditional Rice, Gyeonggi Rice” will widely enhance its reputation at a national exposition. 

The Gyeonggi Province and National Agricultural Cooperative Federation are co-hosting “Seoul Rice Exposition 2003 (Ricexpo)” at the Convention Hall in COEX, Seoul, for 5 days, from Nov. 13 to 17. 

This event is held to consolidate brand image and marketing and to promote rice consumption among consumer of Korea’s rice. A Rice Exposition Organization Committee was organized to prepare for this event and actively publicize the excellent quality of Gyeonggi Rice. 

Events include, exhibition and information on predominant Gyeonggi rice carefully selected from the 12 cities and districts within Gyeonggi-do, various agricultural technologies, introduction to eco-friendly rice and functional rice and more will be open to the public. 

In addition, consumers who visit the exposition may receive a rice pack (500g) through games and free photo pictures taken with the official Gyeonggi Rice character will be provided to housewives and children. 

Other events such as sampling party of rice cakes and kimbap made with Gyeonggi Rice and also free Korean rice drinks will be provided throughout the exposition.
