The Ministry of Justice announced, “Control squads composed of officials from 5 government branches will control 50 areas of those who have smuggled into the country and those without a legal passport and illegal sojourners who remained in the country for over 4 years.”

The bureau also mentioned, “Minor manufacturers are excluded from supervision due to the appeals from manufacturers on business difficulties. But illegal workers who secede from work will be kept in order.”

Related to this, the Ministry of Justice is planning to consult with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy on a measurement to quickly admit foreign industrial trainees to minimize the gap in human resources.
Illegal aliens exposed from the squad will be turned over to the Immigration Bureau.

Aliens will have to immediately depart the country right after their passports and plane tickets are ready and those without passports will be given a temporary passport. Those who cannot depart the country immediately due to back wages, industrial accidents, lawsuits and other reasons may leave the country after their matters are settled.

Illegal alien workers, who voluntarily leave the country until Nov. 30, will not be compensated with a fine. Aliens who have departure tickets dated within this month are also excluded from the control list.
