Improving G Mark image by opening exhibitions of Gyeonggi-do fine products

The Gyeonggi Province is holding an exhibition for G Mark products at the Suwon Agricultural & Marine Products Market for 9 days, from Dec. 20 to 28. Through this exhibition, consumers get the chance to encounter fine products and the G Mark can be widely publicized and also farmers can increase profits. 

16 companies, including the Pig Research Institute, will participate by holding sampling parties, discount sales and give out gifts to visitors, all to lift the brand recognition of the G Mark. 

Items to be on display are pears, kiwis, mushrooms, fresh vegetables, pine nuts, sweet potatoes, honey, pork, eggs, rice, dumplings, rice cakes, kimchi and more. 

This event has started in 2001 and has been opened for 3 rounds in 2002 and 3 more in 2003. The exhibition is held in distinguished department stores located in Seoul, Bucheon, Seongnam and other cities and attained sales result of about 437 million won.

>> The G Mark is granted to 61 farm products by Gyeonggi-do to eco-friendly agricultural products that are grown through organic farming and are the proven to be the best throughout Korea.
