Gyeonggi-do plans to hold an investment conference by businesses with about 300 businessmen at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel on February 12 with the presence of Hak-kyu Sohn, provincial governor of Gyeonggi-do. 

According to the provincial government on Feb. 5, Sohn will directly do a presentation on ‘Strategies to materialize the plan to develop Gyeonggi into a business hub of Northeast Asia’. This event is to publicize Gyeonggi-do as a place where business flourishes and many investors will be able to encounter the province’s industrial development vision. 

Also development of Pyeongtaek Harbor, supply of area (Poseung, Hyeongok) on lease for foreign investment companies, conditions on R&D locations, support measures and other matters will be introduced.
