Gyeonggi-do will hold int’l exhibition on automobile parts in October

To prepare for the upcoming northeast automobile industry generation, the Gyeonggi-do government will hold the first ‘Korea Auto Parts International Exhibition’ with help from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) for 3 days, from Oct. 27 to 29 at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center (SETEC).
Supported by MOCIE and the Gyeonggi-do government, Sihwa Trade Promotion Foundation will be arranging this major event. Sihwa also manages the world-famous auto parts exhibition ‘Detroit SAE’ with SAE (The Society of Automotive Engineers) America, which has a century long history and tradition, and also China. Auto parts manufacturers in and out of the country are already showing high interest in this international show.
About 300 enterprises including 100 foreign enterprises will be participating the first auto parts exhibition held in Korea. Sihwa is getting prepared by unrolling global promotion on and offline activities, and also attracting buyers from related organs in American and also in Korea. GM, Ford, Chrysler and other worldwide finished automobile makers are expected to participate to excavate essential automotive parts manufacturers.
OEM and after marketing car parts, supplies, accessories makers will be displaying their products and also telematics, car audios and tuning products will also be on display.
During the time the exhibition is held, an additional conference hall will be open to foreign buyers who are interested in purchasing large auto parts. Additional events include Technology & Marketing Conference focused on SAE, ‘OEM Parts Delivery Strategy Seminar’ with foreign buyers and covisint and other events will be held.
With support from Gyeonggi-do, Sihwa Trade Promotion Foundation plans to act as a medium for auto parts manufacturers in Korea and interested foreign buyers through on and offline promotions and multimedia information.
