o Six leading companies from North America including the top truck & bus manufacturer 

The Gyeonggi provincial government announced that it would host an invitational trade show with the world’s leading companies at Ahnsan Gyeonggi Techno Park on June 2 (09:30~17:00) to support the overseas marketing effort by the province’s SMBs on June 1. 

Six internationally renowned manufacturers in the automobile-related industries are invited to the trade show as buyers, including the world’s biggest distributor of electronic parts and computers, Arrow Electronics the leader of the US truck & bus manufacturing industry, International Truck & Engine the world’s biggest manufacturer of agricultural machineries, Deere & Co, and the world’s biggest manufacturer of construction equipments, Caterpillar. 30 SMBs from Gyeonggi province will also be participating in the trade show. 

The provincial government plans to facilitate the signing of contracts worth $1.5 million by hosting consultations worth $10 million among these companies. 

An official from the province stated, “Many manufacturers from the advanced companies are in the middle of acquiring foreign outsourcing routes to break away from the traditional purchase strategy of vertical part supply. The trade show invited core purchase personnel to present high-quality products of the province’s SMBs who often face much difficulty in making advancement into new markets.”
