Gyeonggi Provincial Museum prepares an international academic symposium and a dance festival under the theme of “Harmony between traditional and modern dance.” as a special program for this year. 

The symposium will be held in a seminar room of Gyeonggi Provincial Museum at 2 p.m.to 5 p.m on Nov. 25. The dance festival will kick off at 2 p.m.to 5 p.m on Nov. 26 for a two-day run in its auditorium with renowned scholars and dancers from home and abroad in attendance. 

The events, sponsored by Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, are intended to deepen the academic understanding of dance and give participants a glimpse into the modern dance. 

“The museum will also hold an exhibit showcasing Chinese culture, which I believe will provide a good chance for people to enjoy various cultural events in one place,” a museum official said.
