First, during the holidays, the provincial government will implement a special transportation plan for those visiting their hometowns. Additionally, before and after the holidays, it plans to inspect energy-related facilities and has established countermeasures for crisis situations such as the transfer of emergency patients.

It will operate public transport systems such as buses and taxies even during the holidays and will extend the bus-operating time by up to two hours.

The bus lines that many people use will be dispersed into several routes, and real-time traffic information will be displayed on electronic traffic boards.

As CNG buses have recently come into service, the provincial government plans to complete safety checks before the holidays. Moreover, it will strengthen traffic safety and take precautionary measures against traffic accidents.

In addition, the provincial government has taken steps to secure food safety and stabilize the livelihood of low-income earners.

In relation to Chuseok foods, by the 10th of this month the Gyeonggi Provincial Government will strengthen food hygiene and crack down on retailers who falsify the originating countries of their products. And it will open 60 marketplaces to sell farm products certified by the provincial government (“G-marked” products).

The provincial government has designated the period from September 13 to 24 for “Integrated Domestic Waste Management,” for which special cleaning teams will operate in cooperation with the city and county governments

In terms of the national economy, the provincial government will operate the Price Control Office, and a special “Price Control Squad” will be actively engaged by the 20th of this month. Moreover, the provincial government plans to process overdue wages in cooperation with Ministry of Employment and Labor.
