The Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that deals worth USD 49.3 million in exports were successfully concluded at the 2012 G-TRADE GBC Export Business Session, which was jointly held by the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Center (GSBC) on April 18.
The event was held with GSBC inviting 61 buyers from 51 businesses interested in importing goods manufactured by companies in the province through the introduction of GSBC-operated business centers in foreign countries. Significantly, most of the buyers were from emerging markets such as China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Russia, as well as the United States, which signed a free trade agreement with South Korea.
Commenting on the event, a provincial official said that a pre-matching process contributed to raising the rate of success.

Ltd., a company in Hwaseong City specializing in the production of flexible carbon fiber and flexible heating elements, said, “We have been exporting to Europe and are planning to enter into business with American buyers.
