Gyeonggi provincial civil affairs center located in Suwon Station places volunteers providing public services in different languages on the weekends and holidays for foreign tourists.

The Province announced on April 4 that its public officials who can communicate in foreign language such as English or Japanese will offer interpreting service on the weekends and holidays from April 6.

As of now, 15 public officials are expected to settle various civil complaints of foreigners who visit the region for tours, friend visits or other reasons.

Head of Gyeonggi Provincial Always Civil Affairs Center Lee Se-jung said, “Foreigners who get off the train at Suwon Station often visit 365 civil affairs center to ask about tours or transportations.” He added, “Now with great public services that move foreigners as well as local residents, we will try our best to let the visiting foreigners know the global Gyeonggi Province and get a good impression about Korea.”
