The Korea Ceramic Foundation is holding fall events at Icheon Cerapia, a ceramics theme park, from October 3 to 19, primarily on weekends and holidays.

The fall events at Icheon Cerapia, which are recommendable to those who want to experience unique fall travel with family members, include performances and special ceramic experience programs such as working with clay as well as exhibitions.

For events that feature working with clay, the most popular among visitors, both ‘piling clay high,’ a family match in which the team that makes the highest pile of clay wins, and ‘making a cake with clay’ have been organized. 

In the ceramic experience class of Cerapia, ‘Torak Class,’ Kids Season 2, ‘Toya Village: Please save Toya!’ takes place. From October 15 to 20, visitors can watch ceramic masters firing ceramics in a traditional kiln as well as the process of traditional kiln firing.

In addition, a special exhibition, ‘Admiration of Blue,’ and a regular exhibition by the Korean Contemporary Ceramic Artists Association, ‘Convergence out of Boundaries,’ are offered at the World Ceramic Center of Cerapia. Fringe music performances are also being staged.  ‘Doseondang,’ a shop featuring daily ceramic ware and art pieces at affordable prices, is waiting for visitors with its doors wide open.
