Gyeonggi Province will host the 2016 Good
Morning Food Truck Festival at KINTEX (Goyang City) from
September 28 to October 1.
This year’s festival will showcase a variety
of aspects to help more people open food trucks. It will also offer ample viewing
and eating opportunities. Visitors will be able to sample dishes available at
various food trucks, see exemplary food truck designs, and witness food truck
cooking competitions.
At 2:00pm on September 30, the festival will
hold a startup information session at KINTEX on how to open food trucks with a small
initial investment, and will also share success stories.
Until August 31, to facilitate the event,
Gyeonggi Province is recruiting food truck operators to participate in the festival.
Twenty participants – 10 food trucks to sell food and participate
in the cooking contest and 10 food trucks exemplifying good designs – will be recruited for the event. Those who
wish to sell dishes and participate in the contest must be licensed food truck
owners (individual business owners) residing in Korea.
Those who wish to participate in the good
design section of the festival must be registered food truck manufacturers in
Korea.
The recruitment notice has been posted on
Gyeonggi Province’s website (www.gg.go.kr). Applicants
can fill in forms and submit them via email (eomkijin@gg.go.kr).
