On September 27, Gyeonggi Province will host the 2016
Gyeonggi Province Foreign-invested Companies
Youth Job Fair, a major job fair
undertaken in partnership with 30 foreign-invested companies including Electric
Glass Korea and Hoya Electronics Korea at the GSBC Center.

Despite the fact that Gyeonggi Province
accommodates more than 3,400 foreign-invested companies, the second largest
number of foreign-invested companies in the nation following Seoul, such companies
in the province have been experiencing recruitment difficulties.

According to requests by the foreign-invested
companies, the province decided to host a job fair geared exclusively for foreign-invested
companies.

The foreign-invested companies in Gyeonggi Province are relatively
small in terms of scale, but are highly competitive as they feature superior
technical skills,
said Kim Neung-sik, director of Gyeonggi
Province
s
Investment Promotion Division. Kim also added,
The job fair
will be an ideal opportunity for young people who are willing to seek
employment at a foreign-invested company.

Gyeonggi Province will operate a
preliminary-matching team consisting of recruitment experts at the fair. For
those who submit their resumes beforehand, exclusive services will be provided including
individual job interview consultations, job interview time reservations, and
consistent follow-up services for participants who did not find employment at
the job fair.

Public institutions including the Ministry of
Employment & Labor, the Gyeonggi Regional Human Resource Development
Committee, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and the Korean
Industrial Technology Association will also participate in the job fair to
provide customized information to the job seekers.

The 2016 Gyeonggi Foreign-invested Companies Youth Job Fair is open to all
job seekers who seek employment in Gyeonggi Province. Advance registration is
also possible via the job fair website (www. gafic.or.kr/job).

Inquiries can be
directed to the Gyeonggi Province Support Center for Foreign-invested Companies
(031-259-6521).
