Export consultation meeting targeting the 1.3-billion-strong Chinese consumer market
to be held in Suwon.

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Small & Medium
Business Center have invited SMEs to apply by October 31 to participate in the
2016 G-TRADE
CHINA export consultation event to be held on November 24 at the Novotel
Ambassador Hotel in Suwon.

In
this event, 45 established buyers from Shanghai, Shenyang, Guangzhou and other
major cities invited by the Gyeonggi Business Center network in China will participate
in one-on-one export buyer meetings with SMEs of Gyeonggi Province.

Among the main business sectors included in the event are: food/beverage items,
electric/electronic goods, cosmetic/medical products, kitchen/bath wares,
household goods, machinery/tools, and LED products.

Gyeonggi Province expects this event will provide a good opportunity for SMEs
to develop new markets in China.

China is the largest trading partner of Gyeonggi Province, accounting for 34.8%
of all provincial exports (as of August 2016). Recently, through industrial
restructuring and supply reform, China is evolving from a manufacturing-driven
economy via the advancement of its consumption structure. As a result, global suppliers
of consumer goods are actively pursuing this promising market.

Gyeonggi Province International Trade Division Director Lee So-chun said,
Recently, many expect China to become the next major consumer
market, becoming even larger than the US.
He added, We expect applications from promising SMEs that seek entry into this
massive market where 1.3 billion consumers await superior products.

Candidates for this initiative are 130 SMEs with head offices or production
facilities located within Gyeonggi Province. The selected participants will be
provided with arrangements for meetings with buyers on a one-on-one basis
including information on the buyers and interpretation
services
so as to maximize the effects of the event.
Participation is free of charge.

To participate, enterprises are asked to submit applications through the
business matching system of GSBC
(www.gtrade.or.kr/bms) by 11:59 a.m., October 31.

Inquiries can be directed to the Marketing Team of the Gyeonggi Small & Medium
Business Center (031-259-6148).
