Gyeonggi Province hosts export consultation sessions at Jakarta, Ho Chi
Minh and elsewhere from October 31 to November 5

Products
from SMEs of Gyeonggi Province have won over ASEAN markets, including Indonesia
and Vietnam.
On
November 9, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that the Gyeonggi
Province-ASEAN FTA Trade Promotion Delegation recorded USD 18.73 million in
export consultations and signed multiple contracts worth a total of USD 7.09
million.
The
Trade Promotion Delegation, featuring ten SMEs from Gyeonggi Province, hosted
export consultations to meet with local buyers in a number of cities including
Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh from October 31 to November 5.
The delegation
included such companies as Daeho, DSB Korea, Action Tech, Hyoshin, AP, Do Dream,
Security & Best, Cremotech, and GSA.
These
SMEs held 65 consultation sessions valued at USD 10.49 million in Jakarta and
successfully signed contracts worth a total of USD 4.86 million. Later on, in
Ho Chi Minh, the delegation held 103 consultation sessions valued at USD 8.24
million and signed contracts worth a total of USD 2.23 million.
Animal
feed additive producer Daeho agreed to register its products in order to enter
the local market after a consultation session with an Indonesian buyer. Daeho
will also provide quotes and sample quality tests for clients.
DesignPark
Development, a producer of indoor and outdoor recreational rides, opted to
supply products to apartments and schools in Vietnam.
Gyeonggi
Province International Trade Division Director Lee So-chun said, “The ASEAN Trade Promotion Delegation
was able to achieve these excellent results thanks to the competitiveness of
SMEs in Gyeonggi Province.” Lee added, “We will expand actively into overseas markets with trade
consultation sessions for a wide range of products.”
