Gyeonggi-do Quality Management Convention was held at the Gyeonggi Small Business Center on July 8. The purpose for this convention is to search and commend enterprises and laborers that make efforts on developing new technology and new management techniques and to induce activities on quality improvement.

The convention will be held till July 9 and during the convention Provincial Governor Hak-kyu Sohn , Provincial Assembly Chairman Yeong-gi hong and other officials attended. Three people received the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy commendation and nine with the provincial governor commendation.

After the opening ceremony, a representative from Kia Motors Soha-ri Plant introduced a technomania case study of the efficiency of reducing 44 employees by a process study.

In addition, 35 enterprises participated in this convention. Six companies participated in the small business division, sixteen in the big business division and thirteen in the public enterprise division. Many studies about quality improvement, cost reduction, production advancement and other cases from many industrial scenes have been announced.
