The champion of the 2002 Season K-League, Seongnam Ilhwa Football team will compete with world’s highest ranking professional football teams at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.
The red sensation of last year’s 2002 Korea and Japan World Cup will revive at this event.
Starting from July 15, to July 22, the 2003 Peace Cup Korea Tournament will be held in six World Cup stadiums including the stadium in Suwon. The biggest football tournament held since the 2002 World Cup is expected to arouse enthusiasm from football fans.
At the first match Korea’s representative football team, Seongnam Ilhwa, will compete with South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs team on the 17th of this month. On July 20, the second match with Netherland’s PVC Eindhoven and the LA Galaxy starring the Korean player, Myeong-bo Hong.
The 2003 Peace Cup Korea will bring back the memories of last years successful World Cup.
