Gyeonggi-do plans to carry out safety inspections on gas and electric facilities in multi complex centers where unspecified individuals come and go often, such as hotels, highway resting spots and condominiums, to prevent accidents.

From July 21 to 30, the province will inspect gas and electricity facilities in hotels, condominiums, department stores, bus terminals, stations, highway resting places, schools, parks, theaters, concert halls, juvenile training facilities, singing rooms and other places. A total of 455 facilities will be inspected for 10 days.

Main inspection items are, gas and electricity facilities maintenance status, safety of vending machines in resting places and other places, emergency cutoff and gas leakage alert devices maintenance status, functions of various safety devices and duty conditions of safety officials, safety regulations knowledge of electric and gas personnel and so on.

Gyeonggi-do will implement prompt management plan on the minor defect, which can be fixed immediately. The illegal application of gas facility will be disposed by the relevant regulations.
